Just discovered s rather spiffing review of The Reef. Sadly, I have very few copies left and no plans to reprint at the moment, but the book is currently available in the following Waterstones' stores.

First Confirmed Sighting

Way up in Glasgow, on Argyle Street, confirmed by Richard Wright.
So, there's still time people – if you want your chance of winning a signed free copy of this book – and from the word on the street, this first printing will not only sell out fast, but will become a very collectable item.
Mind you, are there any further Waterstones stores than Glasgow? ;-)

It's Competition Corner!

In my memory of my childhood and the impending distribution of a multitude of copies of Mark Charan Newton's debut dark fantasy novel, The Reef, via Waterstones I thought I'd start a little competition – a little bit of fun and frivolity…
From it's publication (26th March) and until end of June whomever can find a copy of said book in a branch the furthest away (from me) and provide documentary proof of it's location then the eventual winner will receive a signed copy gratis.
Oh, and the publisher's decision is final.
So, if you're up there in John O'Groats or down there in Land's End then keep your eyes peeled…

The Reef – Waterstones' Distribution

Just to confirm to you all, and I'm pretty much excited about, that Mark Charan Newton's debut novel The Reef will be receiving a mass distribution via Waterstones: a first for Pendragon (and hopefully not the last!)
Copies should be stocked in April, so hot-foot your way to your local W then and buy a copy.
The official launch is scheduled for Eastercon on the Friday night, with free wine.
